How to Install
It's easy. Simply remove your existing showerhead. Next, ensure your new Mondano Filtered Showerhead has a filter pre-installed. Lastly, attach your new filtered showerhead and tighten by hand or with the included Mondano Mini Wrench! That's it!
Care Instructions
Regular Cleaning:
Weekly: Rinse the showerhead with warm water weekly to remove any surface debris.
Monthly: Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild soap solution to gently clean the exterior of the showerhead. Avoid harsh chemicals as they can damage the finish.
Deep Cleaning:
Every 2-3 Months: Unscrew the showerhead and remove any mineral deposits or buildup inside. Soak the showerhead in a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water for about an hour. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and reattach.
Filter Replacement:
Every 90 Days: To maintain optimal performance and ensure clean, purified water, replace the filter every 90 days. Simply unscrew the showerhead, remove the old filter, insert the new filter, and secure the showerhead back in place. No tools are required.
Check for Leaks:
After Reassembly: After cleaning or replacing the filter, check the connections for any leaks. If leaks are present, ensure the showerhead is properly tightened or consider replacing worn washers.
Avoid Blockages:
Keep the spray face clear of sediment and lime buildup by frequently wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. This helps maintain a strong, even water flow.

LorenFor the TL;DR version: I will simply say I love the showerhead and it works! This one earned its five stars. I'm usually generous with my stars - if a product worked as advertised and has no obvious flaws I'll usually go with five - but there are times that five meansmore than others. This is one of those. It increased my water pressure by nearly double, made the shampoo actually rinse out of my hair, made the soap rinse off properly and left me feeling clean clean clean. Seriously.
C.T.You can ponder the price but the shower is truly great. I’m coming from a 12x12 rainfall shower head that’s great and I thought, why would I get rid of that. Well, I’ll tell you that the rainfall was big, heavy droplets of water and I didn’t even know what big droplets were until the Mondano whose feather light droplets you won’t even feel hitting you just the warm sensation of a great shower, I love it.

This replaced my $5 shower head that was plugging up from hard water despite having an inline filter. The spray out of that one was like sharp needles and all wonky with streams going crooked and even straight up sometimes. So it's not too hard to be better than that one.However, in the past, I've had a few $30-40 shower heads that really weren't any better than the $5 one so I stopped trying more expensive ones. There just wasn't enough difference to justify the extra expense. Some had a decent flow of water, but really just barely better than cheap ones. So I figured why bother.This one is different. Really different. The designer seems to have found the magic number, size, and placement of holes to yield the perfect spray pattern. It is SO NICE! It has just the right force and flow rate to feel really really nice and rinse everything off completely - it's pretty much PERFECT. Hopefully the inline filter helps maintain the spray pattern over time.It installs like any other shower head. Comes with sealing tape (PTFE aka Teflon) and a cheap adjustable wrench (kind of unnecessary IMO) and 2 optional flow restrictor inserts (I didn't use either one). It appears to be made really well.The filter completely eliminates the treated water smell and hopefully reduces the mineral deposits that clog up shower heads. Every filter I've used so far does a very good job with the smell but not so well with the mineral deposits. I don't expect this one will be much different but only time will tell. At the very least, I hope replacement filters are readily available in the future.The price is a bit high, but maybe that's what it costs these days to make the perfect shower head?
